Can powder equipment be used anywhere indoors?
Have the location reviewed rather than assuming universal suitability. Suitability must consider visibility, breathing conditions, occupancy and sensitive equipment as well as the fire hazard.
Do vehicle-mounted units need to be included?
List each vehicle-mounted appliance and explain when the vehicle will be available. Confirm that this equipment is included in the agreed inspection.
What if the safety seal is missing?
A replacement seal alone does not establish that the appliance is charged or has not been used. Treat the missing seal as a reason to investigate.
What should be covered at handover?
Check equipment identification, inspection findings and service records.
